Twelve Thousand Socks for a Nuclear Bomb | Publication | Packaging
Book publication writing, layout, design & packaging.
The idea was to focus on a world issue we felt strongly about & research, write and illustrate it from cover to cover. My topic of choice was United States Military Spending.
The goal was to emphasize the amount of money that our government spends yearly on our Armed Forces & what it could initially provide our economy if used elsewhere. I created a connection between the subject & the average citizen by comparing military goods to consumer goods.
The design utilized bright colors & simple design in order to make the subject more appealing & enjoyable therefore more informational to the reader.
The only ammo this crate holds is knowledge.

Element 94 - Move On | Signage | Video
Signage & advertisement design.
The posters were used to draw attention to the music video, the main aspect of the project (viewable below) playing at my Multimedia Senior Show.
Elements from the video were used as a teaser to give the viewer an idea of what the video is about. The street signs and male and female figures are used throughout the video & are main staples of the project as a whole.
The grunge & distressed looks were used to accompany the style & trends of the band, their location and their music.
Element 94 is a pop punk rock band based out of San Bruno, California, and consists of four members.

REI™ | Advertising
A series of four ads for the outdoor equipment company REI™.
Here I created a playful series of ads by re-creating an environment the adventurer is forced to be in with daydream like figures.
By creating an environment inside of an environment the viewer is given the opportunity to put themselves in the position of the ad and relate to thought of being on an adventure rather that in a cubicle, at school or stuck at home.
The extra sticker pages allowed the viewer to take the idea one step further and apply the figures to objects around them when in these less than adventurous environments.
